Is there something like a vintage looking flower? If so, I think Hellebores are a runner up. What an amazing flower with their patterned petals and sculptural form not to forget their dramatic colour.

Hellebores and plum petals, a beautiful combination of colour, shape and texture. The patina of the studio was the perfect backdrop for these vintage blooms.

The sun made a fleeting appearance, so quickly I dashed to the studio with the only flower to hand- floppy tulips!

Despite their fragile state (or because of!?) they looked absolutely fabulous with their curvy stems and shiny petals.
